A Heavenly Perspective Of Fallen Heroes of the Faith

Brothers and Sisters

We must never lose sight of the fact that we all fall short of the Glory of God. We all miss the mark from time to time. But do not let the enemy use these moments to cause you to pull back from the heavenly call that He has placed upon each of our lives. Furthermore, do not sit in the seat of the scorners (Ps 1:1) for Jesus is very clear that if a repentant brother has sinned against us, we are to forgive him and thus avoid torment as a wicked servant (Matt 18:22-25).

"Do not lie in wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; do not plunder his resting place; for a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity. Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles." (Pro 24:15

God even counsels us not to be glad when our enemy falls -- so much so when it is a brother in the faith.

The following word was received during a time of worship and brings a heavenly perspective to those who have fallen and have let the enemy waylay them from the call the Lord has placed upon their life.

We are fast approaching a new year. Let it be a time of forgiveness, restoration and resolute determination to do the will of He who gave His all so that we might live.

Amen?

A Heavenly Perspective Of Fallen Heroes of the Faith

In the armies of the earth there are many that have
dedicated themselves to the service of their country
These earthly warriors are well trained
and equipped to face their enemy

They do not expect to be killed
or wounded in their service
But those that are wounded are not left on the field of honor
They are taken off the field

Their wounds are tended to
They go through a time of healing
And when their strength returns
They are willingly sent back into battle

They are not faulted for the wounds they receive
But they are honored with medals and treated as heroes
For they have put themselves in harms way
for the sake of King and Country

In My heavenly army
there are many wounded warriors
Some are mighty men of war who would crash through the lines of the enemy
for a drink of water for their King

Others are those
who in the daily performance of their duties
are enticed, ensnared and captured by the enemy
and made to do his will

There are many casualties of war
But when you fall
I AM there ready to lift up
bind up your wounds and restore you

In the heavenly realms
These wounded warriors are honored
For they did not love their lives so much as to fear death
And they will receive a reward

Yet the enemy comes
To heap condemnation on these fallen ones
But I say to you there is no condemnation in Me
So do not wallow in the pit of self condemnation

For I say to you
what you have been made to believe
is a defeat and a touch point of shame
is in the heavenly reality a touch point of honor

Your name is lifted as a fallen hero so rise up and begin again
Recognize the wiles of the enemy
Do not fall victim again to his schemes
Do not allow him to keep you in bondage

Once again
Engage the enemy on the battle field of the world
You brave ones
My heroes of the faith

Vince Aquilino, 12/12/2010

Have you been wounded? Have you allowed the wounds to fester and for the enemy to bring unforgiveness and bitterness?

It is time to allow the Lord to deal with the sin of offence so you can go forward in Him.

To Him be the Glory!

Merry Christmas,
Vince Aquilino, ICA
